The WR Camp Board: Speed, Toes, and a 22-Spot Discount
McLaurin is clocking 22 mph. Egbuka left practice with a toe. Jennings is 22 spots cheaper than he should be. Camp did not rewrite the WR board. It circled the names the market is still mispricing.
The WR Camp Board: Speed, Toes, and a 22-Spot Discount

Ted Lasso would call this a belief problem. The market believes last year's highlight. Camp is running the 40 again.
The Gavfather WR board after this week's notes is not a new religion. Puka Nacua is still overall 3. Ja'Marr Chase is still overall 5. The edges are where camp actually paid.
The good kind of camp news
Terry McLaurin, WAS. HEALTHY. Clocking 22 mph in camp. No issues. Daniels connection is real. The model has him WR22, which is exactly where the market has him โ so this is not a BUY on price. It is a confirmation. If you were fading McLaurin because Washington "always disappoints," camp just told you to stop.
Malik Nabers, NYG. RETURNING. ACL + meniscus, ahead of schedule, running routes. Worst case: misses 1โ2 games. The camp engine still applies 0.93x. The ADP market has him WR16. We have him WR25 โ a FADE on price, not on talent. Pay for the player. Do not pay for the "he's back early" tax.
Rashee Rice, KC. Healthy and practicing. That is the sentence people wanted. It is not enough. Suspension risk remains. Mahomes is cleared for camp and taking 1st-team reps โ do not stack a Rice fade on a quarterback who is practicing. We have Rice WR28. The market has him WR6. That is a 22-spot FADE on Rice's price, not on whether Mahomes exists in September.
The bad kind of camp news
Ricky Pearsall, SF. Season-ending PCL. 0.00 PPG. Market still has him WR53. If he is on your board, delete the row.
Emeka Egbuka, TB. Left practice Wednesday with what Yahoo is calling a minor toe issue. We had him as a BUY (WR12 vs ADP WR17) at 12.50 PPG. Camp applied 0.93x. Week 1 still EXPECTED OK. Toe injuries on receivers are not "he's fine" until he practices again. Keep him in the WR2 conversation. Do not climb for him on a rumor that it is minor.
Jaylen Waddle, DEN Muscle tightness, left practice August 5. MONITOR. Has injury history. We have him WR30 vs ADP WR27 โ a small FADE. Denver with Bo Nix still looks explosive on paper. Waddle has to stay on the field for that paper to cash.
Alec Pierce, IND. PUP. Ankle. Expected off the list "sometime in the next week or so." We have him WR48. The market has him WR25. That is a 23-spot FADE. "Coming off PUP soon" is not a draft strategy.
The discounts camp created
These are the BUY receivers after ADP and camp are both in the file:
**Jauan Jennings, MINSF WR46 vs ADP WR68. +22 spots. Pearsall is gone. This is the vacancy pick, not a sleeper you invented.
Brian Thomas Jr., JAX. WR16 vs ADP WR35. +19 spots. The model liked him before camp. Camp did not give you a reason to stop.
**Stefon Diggs, WASNE WR26 vs ADP WR45. +19 spots. New England's passing game is not a mystery to the model. It is a mystery to people who still think Diggs is a 2023 story.
**Romeo Doubs, NEGB WR33 vs ADP WR52. +19 spots. Kraft is back. The Packers passing game is a real environment again.
**Deebo Samuel Sr., SFWAS WR27 vs ADP WR42. +15 spots. McLaurin is flying. Deebo is the other Washington receiver the market is still treating like a scheme orphan.
**Kayshon Boutte, HOUNE WR55 vs ADP WR78. +23 spots. That is a late-round BUY if your league is deep enough to care. If it is not, take Diggs instead and go home.
Camp reports twice a day. The WR board moves when someone leaves practice or comes off PUP. Not when a podcast declares a "winner."
